Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager (Environmental Education) ( (2-year Contract)
The Green Earth is running projects to promote Leave No Trace education and conserving the nature, is looking for a project coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the organization’s mission and vision and motivate people to protect the environment through environmental education and community engagement;
- Develop, coordinate and implement environmental education programmes including trail-repairing, tree-planting, exhibition, and other waste/carbon reduction education programmes;
- Lead team members to implement planned programmes and achieve set goals;
- Prepare educational materials and publicity materials (including publications, videos, exhibits, social media materials, etc.) to promote programmes’ messages;
- Handling projects’ administrative work including liaising with funders, report writing, budget management, volunteer management and training, etc.;
- Perform office administration and any other necessary duties as assigned by the Seniors.
Requirements:
- Passionate about making a difference on the environment. Had a strong belief on the vision and mission of The Green Earth; (http://greenearth.org.hk)
- With experience in managing environmental education projects;
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant disciplines, preferably in environmental or social science related disciplines;
- At least 4 years of working experience;
- Outgoing, outdoor activity lover;
- Good project coordination skill and self-motivated to drive your own workflow and output;
- Good leadership and good team player;
- Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English;
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Processing;
- It is required to work in non-regular hours in the evenings, weekends or on public holidays.
