簡介 Introduction

過去十年間,互聯網及科技的發展一日千里,在疫情的推波助瀾下,機構較以往更願意、更普及地利用科技和互聯網提供服務。在互聯網普及之初,社會服務、教育界均看到不少其帶來特別對青少年及其家庭的負面影響更設立上網成癮的介入手法、服務模式,協助他們減少螢幕時間,以獲得更多現實的社交互動。然而,隨著不同的社交媒體、即時通訊平台的普及,現實和虛擬的界線越趨模糊。作為從事青年及家庭工作者、社工、教師、教育工作者,應該如何拿捏這現實(reality)和虛擬(virtuality)的界線,協助青少年正向運用科技、互聯網呢?

另一方面,近年不少社會服務機構、學校都積極將服務、教學揉合科技、互聯網的元素,讓內容更到位、更「入屋」。如何將傳統服務、教學轉化(transformation)以網上形式呈現當中創造了甚麼新的發展空間和機遇呢如何量度成效收集大數據(big data)後,機構可用那些角度分析及運用數據,以提升服務、教學的效能?是次研討會中,機構及學校將分享他們在服務及教學轉化過程中的心得和挑戰!名額有限,報名從速!

For the past decades, the Internet and technology have been developing rapidly. Under the COVID-19 epidemic, NGOs are relatively more willing and more common than ever to use technology and the Internet to provide social services. At the beginning, with the increasing penetration rate of the Internet, social workers and educators found a lot of emerging negative impact towards the youth and their families caused by misusing or addiction.  Hence, the sector has established intervention tools and service models to tackle with the derived problem, helping them reducing screen time and obtaining more social interaction in reality. However, with the popularization of social media and instant communication platforms, the boundaries between reality and virtuality have been becoming blurred. As social practitioners working with the youth and family, social workers, teachers and educators, how should we manage the boundary between reality and virtuality to help youngsters make positive use of technology and the internet?

On the other hand, in recent years, many NGOs and schools have proactively integrated services and teaching with technology and the Internet to deliver timely content and service in place. How to transform traditional services and teaching into online mode? Any new development opportunities? Effectiveness measurement, big data collection and analysis will be also covered.
