Trajectory Development Manager (8/2026-8/2028) P2-SW2-SA-RC

Requirements:

  • Either have a University Degree in Social Work or have Higher Diploma/ Diploma / Associate Degree in Social Work with at least 5 years of experience as Social Worker;
  • English language (Syllabus B) and Chinese language at Grade E or above in HKCEE / Level 2 in HKDSE and Registered Social Worker;
  • Possession of electronic certificates for the Online Child Protection Course (Modules 1 and 2);
  • Competency in Information Communication and Technology (ICT) is preferable;
  • Relevant work experience in Mildly Mentally Handicapped Children or in social service project management is preferrable;
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Self-motivated, meticulous and be able to work independently;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Capable of working in diverse and challenging environments and various work settings.

 

Job Duties:

  • To Enhance the developmental trajectory of children and youths on the “JC project Bonfire” in Small group home;
  • Assess the unique needs, interests, strengths, and aspirations of C&Ys and empower them to co-develop an individualized development plan (“IDP”) from a positive developmental trajectory perspective;
  • Effectively utilize and optimize the Child and Youth Trajectory Fund and the Social Capital Platform to actualize the IDP and build their social capital;
  • Assist in building the opportunity network of the Social Capital Platform and cultivate meaningful partnerships with community stakeholders;
  • Identify and address the challenges faced by C&Ys in implementing the IDP;
  • Proactively engage the significant others of C&Ys to promote children and youth-centric practice and implementation of the IDP.

 

Working Hours: 44 hours per week and on shift when necessary

 

Working Location: Wong Tai Sin and Tseung Kwan O
