ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sexuality Educator to join our team on a fixed-term contract for a three-year Youth-centric Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) Project.
In this role, you will work closely with schools, youth service providers, professional stakeholders and community partners to advance evidence-informed sexuality education and foster positive health outcomes for young people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deliver whole-school support programmes for primary and secondary schools, including school-based experiential learning activities and structured implementation support.
2. Conduct needs assessment activities and prepare reports, documentation and related materials for participating schools.
3. Provide professional consultation to teachers, social workers and school counsellors, and respond to enquiries to ensure high-quality programme delivery.
4. Strengthen programme implementation at partner Integrated Children and Youth Services Centres (ICYSCs) through coaching, capacity-building and professional exchange initiatives.
5. Support online communications and youth outreach efforts, including sexuality education campaigns, youth engagement activities and the monitoring of enquiries and referrals.
6. Assist in project coordination, monitoring and evaluation, including tracking participation and attendance data and supporting outcome measurement and reporting.
7. Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, ethical practice, confidentiality and cultural sensitivity in all aspects of service delivery.
8. Work collaboratively with colleagues, service partners, schools and volunteers to ensure effective and integrated implementation across project components.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of programmes and services by identifying emerging needs, sharing best practices and supporting innovation in youth engagement and sexuality education.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health or a related social science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in sexuality education, counselling, social services, healthcare or related settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passionate about empowering diverse communities through sexual and mental health education, with the ability to engage and collaborate with service users, peer educators and volunteers.
• Sound knowledge of sexual health and sexuality-related issues.
• Commitment to affirmative counselling practices, with a strong understanding of and sensitivity to LGBTQ+ communities and diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Experience in youth engagement, school-based counselling, relationship counselling and/or family counselling will be an advantage.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
