Private Sector Engagement Manager (2-year contract, Renewable)

[Ref.: FCU/PSEM/24/01]

 

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate fundraising strategy and action plans for the development of private sector partnerships with a focus on major donor, corporate & foundation giving to achieve the fundraising goals
  • Identify potential donors from private sector; develop fundraising proposals and presentations to meet donors’ requirements
  • Establish appropriate donor stewardship and care program
  • Investigate market trends of charitable giving; explore new and effective fundraising initiatives and channels
  • Cultivate opportunities to solicit project and event sponsorship with support from relevant programme units and fundraising teams.
  • Conduct fundraising survey and analysis, develop KPIs and tools for monitoring fundraising performance
  • Work closely with cross-functional colleagues, liaise and coordinate with external agencies and service providers

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management and Development or equivalent with at least 8 years or above work experience in business development, corporate and high-net-worth individual fundraising, in which with at least 3 years at supervisory level and at NGO/INGO setting.
  • Knowledgeable in corporate social responsibility and charitable giving; familiar with the latest market trend of private sector fundraising focused on foundation and corporate philanthropy
  • Proven track record in securing funding from private sector, foundations etc.
  • Strong grasp of fundraising concepts
  • Outgoing, presentable, energetic, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and ability in relationship building. Able to influence, negotiate and interact with senior executives and business leaders
  • Self-motivated and drive to achieve goals
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Private Sector Engagement Manager.
