Development and Communications Officer
Established in 1990, AIDS Concern is the first NGO in Hong Kong committed to the service of AIDS care and consultation. We have already served over 1 million service recipients.
To cope with our development, we now invite applications to position of Development and Communications Officer with our Development and Communications Team support the delivery of a strong and innovative digital marketing strategies, using SEO, SEM, and other techniques to drive traffic to company pages and generate interest in company products and services. Creates engaging written, graphic, and video content while staying up-to-date on latest marketing technologies and social media.
Development and Communications Officer
Job Duties
- Formulate, coordinate and execute development plans to achieve AIDS Concern’s goals and objectives; and enhance our brand values
- Provide different marketing strategy in helping the management team develop our Social Enterprise
- Manage in-house CRM system of our fundraising programmes
- Recruit third-party graphic designers, web designers, and videographers to create a unique and interesting output
- Build and maintain good relationships with media and raise media awareness of our organizations and our events;
- Explore new opportunities, new platforms and new approaches to promote our brand values for board social support
- Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns; create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies and social media presences
- Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies by online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics and blogs; use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant tools to make a comprehensive analysis of the success rate of the content
- Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies into our campaigns; drive traffic of our organization web pages
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Development and Communications
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Brand Management, Journalism or other equivalent
- 3 years solid experience in Corporate Communications / Journalism / Fundraising, Marketing Communications and Event Management or related
- Good understanding of NGO culture
- Proficiency in bilingual writing and proofreading, excellent written and verbal in English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Marketing and Social Media Applications like SEO, SEM, Google AdWords, Content Management Systems, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (a plus), Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Well-versed operations in Microsoft Office and design software
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, detail-minded with good interpersonal skills
- Candidates will more experience should consider as Senior Development and Communication Officer
