Project Officer / Assistant Project Officer (Education and Administration Support)

Responsibility：

• To assist or to implement various education activities including waste reduction education in large-scale events, coastal and country side cleanup activities, Leave No Trace education, etc.;
• To coordinate and deliver activities for schools and the community, such as talks, workshops and green tours;
• To provide administrative support to environmental education programmes such as logistic arrangement, making calls, materials coordination, etc. ;
• To provide daily administrative support for the organization including handling public enquiries;
• To prepare educational materials and publicity materials to promote green messages;
• To assist in other ad-hoc assignments.

Qualification：

• Passionate about making a difference on the environment. Had a strong belief on the vision and mission of The Green Earth ( http://greenearth.org.hk );
• A Bachelor’s degree or above (Graduate in environmental subject is an advantage);
• Preferably 1 year of working experience. Experience in environmental education, community programmes or project management will be an advantage;
• Self-motivated, to drive your own workflow and output;
• Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English;
• Good communications skill;
• Proficient in MS Office, Chinese Processing and basic graphic design tools;
• Outgoing, nature/outdoor activity lover will be an advantage;
• It is required to work in non-regular hours in the evenings, weekends or public holidays; and
• Candidates with less relevant working experience will be considered as Assistant Project Officer.

Treatment：5-day work per week
