NGO Talent Development
To support the development of NGO talent pipelines and build future leadership, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) is dedicated to developing innovative initiatives that enhance both individual and organizational capacities in the social service sector. Beyond offering tailored learning experiences to equip sector leaders with the essential skills and insights to navigate tomorrow’s challenges, we create platforms and communities to facilitate connections and wisdom exchange both within and beyond the sector. This creates a vibrant co-learning and support network among NGOs to foster development of sustainable talent pipelines across the social service ecosystem.
Manager (Talent Development Team) (Ref No: HKCSS/006/2026)
One-year renewable contract
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate and work with other team members to:
- Lead Innovative Initiatives: Develop, implement, and manage talent development initiatives that enhance individual and organizational capacities in the social service sector, from planning, budgeting, promotion, implementation, to impact evaluation
- Cultivate a Learning Culture: Plan and coordinate engaging events of various scales to inspire and promote learning and insight sharing in the sector
- Build Collaborative Partnerships: Engage with key stakeholders and partners to foster collaboration and co-creation, enhancing the impact of our initiatives
- Drive Team Success: Oversee work plans, project documentation, budgets, and reports while supporting the growth and development of team members in a nurturing environment
What We’re Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management, learning and development, or stakeholder engagement, preferably with supervisory experience
- Passionate in talent development of the social service sector
- Self-motivated and a good team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills; highly organized and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Good command in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
5-day work per week. 21-day annual leave.
