JC Community Building for Youth Drug Issue
Social Work Assistant
Responsibilities:
－To identify target clients
－To render service to individuals and groups in the forms of advice, guidance, counselling, home visits, information giving, etc.
－To establish community contacts.
－To make referrals.
－To prepare records and reports.
－To assist in carrying out administrative and management duties.
－To investigate and assess needs of the serving areas and to recommend appropriate programmes.
－To assist in the planning and implementation of research projects.
Requirements:
－Holder of diploma in social work or above recognized by the Hong Kong’s Social Workers Registration Board for registration Registered Social Worker.
－Have relevant working experience in social work, including youth service.
－Good in English, Cantonese and Putonghua for providing counselling service.
－Good communication skills, proactive and responsible.
－Independent, able to work under pressure.
－Passionate to serve at-risk youth and youth outreaching service.
