Tech Enablement

Manager / Deputy General Manager (Digital Transformation) (Ref No: HKCSS/041/2025)
One-year contract

The Manager / Deputy General Manager (Digital Transformation) will coordinate IT projects and AI adoption, working closely with vendors to strengthen the technological capacity of NGOs and welfare organizations. The role will also lead the strategic development and operations of the Tech Enablement Team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resourceful consultant to NGOs on system development, website, AI solutions, tender documents, security services and digital transformation.
• Support the identification and implementation of digital transformation opportunities across NGOs.
• Collaborate with senior team members to design and deploy innovative solutions using emerging technology and explore AI solutions tailored to the needs of NGOs and welfare services.
• Manage IT projects effectively, ensuring successful implementation and optimization of technologies. Monitor progress to achieve expected benefits and business goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including vendors, technology providers, customers, and department counterparts, to support digital initiatives.
• Oversee the daily operations of ITRC and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends relevant to the social welfare sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects, including planning, resource management, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or other programming languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, data analysis, or automation tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project).
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Power BI) is a plus.
• Prior experience or familiarity with NGOs or the welfare sector would be an advantage.
• Strategic thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and an outcome-oriented mindset.

5-day work per week. 21-day annual leave.
