Senior Project Officer / Project Officer (Communications)

Responsibility：

• To develop effective communications strategies for the delivery of the organization’s mission and vision through its campaigns and programmes;
• To contribute creative ideas and develop engaging online content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, to promote projects’ messages and to build public awareness in environmental protection
• To manage social media accounts and analyse content success;
• To assist project and advocacy teams in developing publicity and promotion plan for designated projects, to achieve planned deliverables and performance indicators;
• To assist project and advocacy teams in producing educational materials, promotion and publicity materials (including publications, videos, etc.);
• To explore and liaise with media partners in promotion and publicity tasks.

Qualification：

• Passionate about making a difference on the environment. Had a strong belief on the vision and mission of The Green Earth (http://greenearth.org.hk);
• A Bachelor’s degree or above (Graduate in environmental subject is an advantage);
• At least 1-year working experience in social media management;
• Hands on experience in printed/online publishing or graphic design (you may share samples in your application);
• Knowledge and insights in environmental topics such as nature conservation, waste management and/or climate change would be an advantage;
• Self-motivated, to drive your own workflow and output;
• Outgoing, outdoor activity lover will be an advantage;
• Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English;
• Proficient in MS Office, Chinese Processing and graphic design tools. Knowledge on video production / editing tools would be an advantage; and
• It is required to work in non-regular hours in the evenings, weekends or public holidays.

Treatment：5-day work per week
