Position Description
This role should possess a strong passion for the vision of Mother’s Choice and a deep commitment to securing resources that support its mission. This role involves promoting various fundraising channels and engagement opportunities within the local community, contributing to the growth of Mother’s Choice’s annual budget across key income streams to ensure the organization’s continued impact in the future. This successful candidate will have a passion for Mother’s Choice vision and a strong commitment to securing resources to support its vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Giving Program
– Implement effective fundraising campaigns and products to maximize fundraising results
– Collaborate closely with the MarCom team to produce engaging recruitment materials to support the monthly giving program outreach and drive online donor recruitment
Mass Campaign
– Execute the appreciation and acknowledgement plan whilst ensuring that the framework is complete and sustainable
– Execute and manage donor acquisition and development activities through offline-online integration of donor centric pieces including special and emergency appeals to maximize donor support
Administrative Tasks
– Respond to enquiries via phone and email, and direct requests to relevant team members
– Provide general administrative support to the team
– Assist in the monetary donation process through a CRM system – input donations and donor details into the system, receipt generation, mailing and appreciation management
– Maintain data consistency and manage all records of donations in collaboration with the Finance Team
In-Kind Tasks
– Handle in-kind donations, ensuring accurate documentation and acknowledgment of all contributions.
– Work closely with other departments to secure recurring in-kind donations
Requirements
– A Diploma in Business, Marketing or related discipline;
– Minimum 1 year fundraising or relevant experience;
– Interest in administration, ensuring data integrity and good record-keeping. Proven experience will be an added advantage;
– Attention to detail and ability to follow through the completion of processes;
– Demonstrated ability to work independently;
– Software proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is an added advantage;
– Intermediate level communication in English and ability to read, write and type in Chinese;
– Must share the commitment of Mother’s Choice in upholding the safety and protection of children as paramount.
