To cope with the increasing unmet needs of cancer patients and care-givers, we are expanding our service and would like to invite dedicated professional to join our dynamic team. Assistant Service Officer (Self-help Group)
Responsibilities
- Provide support service and training for core members of the self-help and support groups to enhance their operation and development;
- Coordinate Cancer Patient Peer Support Programme for the self-help and support groups at our support centres;
- Support administrative work related to the membership, funding application, budgeting and reports of the self-help and support groups towards the organisation, and
- Shift duties are required.
Requirements
- Degree holder, preferably in social work, social science, administration, or related disciplines, and
- At least 3 years relevant working experience, experience in administrative work, social services, self-help and support groups and volunteer management would be an advantage.
