The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (hereunder as ‘HKSR’) is a pioneer in rehabilitation dedicated to providing holistic and personalized services to empower persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or challenges of aging to lead fulfilling lives, and to advocate for an inclusive society. HKSR is one of the designated Rehabilitation Collaborating Centres of World Health Organization in the West Pacific region and has service operations in Chinese Mainland.
Chief Executive Officer

The Role
The CEO is expected to provide strategic and inspirational leadership to drive the overall service operation and to navigate a critical period of organization expansion with the Headquarters redevelopment over the next few years, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion and people development.
The Person
- A seasoned executive with a proven track record of leading large and complex human service organizations through growth and transformation.
- Possesses the ability to translate strategic vision into meaningful outcomes enabling organizational success and effectiveness.
- Passionate with high sense of integrity and an unwavering commitment to serving disadvantaged and vulnerable communities.
- A People Leader who nurtures, engages, and develops the team for stability and succession planning.
- A strong and influential collaborator that can cultivate trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders and has proven experience in Chinese Mainland and international partnership.
Requirements
- A recognized tertiary qualification, preferably a postgraduate degree, in social sciences, health or a related discipline.
- Substantial senior leadership experience in a sizeable organization.
The successful candidate will normally be appointed on contract terms. Renewal of contract will be subject to the jobholder’s performance and mutual agreement.
