Deputy Manager (Community Health Service)
Job purpose:
Hong Kong Red Cross is going to launch an Infection Control Training and Support Project for the High-Risk Sectors. It aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of frontline workers on infection control and prevention, as well as the capacity of managerial staff in dealing with infectious disease outbreak.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursing Officer (Project In-charge) to drive the launching of Infection Control Training and Support Project, in which related to the strategic direction, guidelines and implementation plan for enhancing the project’s operation effectiveness and efficiency
- Plan and develop the strategy and implementation plan for infection control promotion campaign to increase public awareness and meet the changing needs in community
- Lead the team to drive the implementation of project as well as collaborate with other teams, service units and partnering organizations to achieve the goals of the project
- Monitor and analyze the progress of project to assure continuous service quality improvement
- Establish network and maintain effective relationship with external stakeholders, such as community partners, schools, government departments and NGOs for collaboration and explore new resources to support the project and campaign whenever appropriate
- Carry out other duties deemed pertinent to achieving the goals of the project
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline, preferably in social service, community health or marketing
- At least 3 years post-graduation and related working experience, in which 2 years at supervisory level
- Medical professional or paramedic with related supervisory experience is preferable
- Familiar with development trend and market needs of health and infection control training
- Sound leadership, people management and coordination skills, with project management and problem-solving experience
- Good communication skills with local authorities, stakeholders and community partners
- Good analytical, coordination and interpersonal skills, mature and able to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
