Invitation to Promote “Community Care Fund Digital Television Assistance Programme”
The “Community Care Fund Digital Television Assistance Programme” (the Programme) operated by the Council assists eligible analogue TV households to enjoy access to local free TV programme after the switch off of analogue television services on November 30, 2020. Eligible households benefiting from specified social assistance programmese or satisfying income criteria can choose either a set-top box, a 24-inch digital TV set or a 32-inch digital TV set. On-site checking and installation will be completed within 8 weeks after receipt of the application form and supporting documents. We are inviting you to promote the Programme through emails, newsletter or referrals, encourage eligible households to apply soon by November 2020.
