Operation Santa Claus 2021″: Funding (Application Closed)

Dear HKCSS Agency Members, Operation Santa Claus 2021: Funding applications now open! Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is an annual charity campaign jointly organised by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). It aims to support the Hong Kong community and beyond, through the combined charitable fundraising power of two of Hong Kong’s most respected news organisations. Over the past 32 years, it has raised over HK$333 million for over 300 charities in Hong Kong.   We are now calling for a new round of funding proposals: Applicants must be non-profit charitable organisations registered in Hong Kong and exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. Maximum funding amount per project is HK$1 Million   We welcome projects Providing children, youth, elderly, physical and mental disability services (either one) Focusing on sustainability or innovative education (such as STEM)  Submission deadline: 13th July 2021 (Tuesday) 5:00PM. Finalists will be invited to present a proposal to the selection committee in August, and applications results will be announced in September 2021. Project Ambition

Project Ambition is sponsored by a kind donor and coordinated by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The project aims at helping youths from less privileged families and studying in Kwai Chung secondary schools to develop their full potential. HSBC HK COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY Wide Array of Support Reaching Over Six Million Beneficiaries   The HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme (CPP) is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year as HSBC pledges another HKD36 million to support projects that provide ongoing relief and build resilience in the disadvantaged communities in Hong Kong. CPP 2021 has already received about 250 proposals which focus on the theme of “Moving Forward”.
