HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme 2024 – Open for Application!

Application period: From 1th March to 12th April 2024 With the funding HKD18 million from The Hongkong Bank Foundation in 2024, the HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme (CPP) continues to drive innovative district-based initiatives to disadvantaged groups, fostering community growth, cooperation with social inclusion and building a sustainable and resource-efficient future. Support innovative district-based community initiatives across 18 districts in Hong Kong, help disadvantaged communities build resilience and become future-ready and promote green thinking and sustainable living. Funding focuses: Youth or Elderly, and their carers. In addition, cross-generational inclusion initiatives are welcome. Innovative projects with the following characteristics will be prioritised: Enhancing direct service for disadvantaged groups Collaborating with social enterprises Promotion of volunteering (including volunteers from HSBC) Donation for each project ranging from HKD200,000 to HKD700,000; Project duration up to 12 months. HKEX Impact Funding Scheme (Applicable to Local Charitable Institutions) (Applications Closed)

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), in partnership with HKEX Foundation, has set up the HKEX Impact Funding Scheme. The Scheme supports non-subvented local charitable institutions to undertake new services/ideas or enhance their current services focusing on the four focus areas of HKEX Foundation, i.e. Financial Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion, Poverty Relief and Environmental Sustainability, serving a wide spectrum of people in need in our community and addressing social and environmental challenges of the society. Application Details Date of Application The Scheme will be opened for online applications from 1 November to 1 December 2023 (5pm). Eligibility Local Charitable Institutions that Registered under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap 112); Do not receive government’s regular subvention (Except the funding for project-based services and services awarded by the way of bidding); and Provide charitable services to local communities in Hong Kong Fund Size The fund size for each proposed project should range from HKD500,000 to HKD1,000,000. Launched in 2012, the HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme (“CPP”) has been supported by the Home Affairs Department, the Social Welfare Department and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). CPP aims to inspire district-based community initiatives to foster a more inclusive society.  Also, it encourages cross-sector collaboration to address the social needs of local districts and help charities and community organisations in Hong Kong build capacity.
