Hong Kong Council of Social Service (The Council)
has more than 320 agency members that are providing over
90% of the social welfare services in Hong Kong. |

The Council, together with its members, promotes the
development of social welfare services in Hong Kong, facilitates
cross-sectoral partnerships, advocates equality, justice,
social integration and a caring society. |

It has also collaborated with more than nearly 1,000
corporations through the Caring Company Scheme. Please

The Caring Company Scheme is an initiative
of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service for cultivating
corporate citizenship, it is specially geared for building
strategic partnership between business and social service
sectors.
The Scheme facilitates corporations to take on the road
to Corporate Social Responsibility through community involvement
programmes and encourages them to take actions on the Caring
Company SIX criteria. Companies fulfill two out of the SIX
criteria will be awarded the Caring Company Logo.

As a bridging platform for the business
and social service sectors, the Caring Company Scheme not
only recognizes companies with active involvement in the
community, but also facilitates better understanding of
the two sectors.
Capacity Building for Both Sectors and Long-term
Partnership Development
Provide localized tools, guidelines, training
and workshops, etc. to NGOs and companies in developing
long-term partnership.
Dialogue and Information Sharing between Different
Sectors
Provide opportunities for government, business
and NGO sectors to hold discussions on related topics, and
to facilitate a better understanding of community needs.
