Regular
Giving
We encourage people to use different
giving ways for supporting NGOs. Regular giving is one of the common fundraising
strategies. To encourage donors making donation monthly, it will create
stable income sources to NGOs. In Hong Kong, some cooperates encourage
their staff for having payroll giving in order to support the charities.
At the same time, the corporates make donation to the beneificial agencies
that support their staff action.
HKCSS
has been providing professional consultancy services in organizting payroll
giving services. Please contact us if you
need further information.
Legacy
Giving
What
is Legacy Giving
A legacy gift or planned gift, is a charitable gift made from your estate
and a commitment to the future. These types of deferred gifts can help
you make the most of your assets without lessening your current income,
while at the same time, making a powerful impact on the lives of many
underprivileged for future generations.
Types
of Legacy Gifts
A legacy gift
comes in many forms and is primarily pledged as a gift through a will.
Types of legacy gifts include:
A
bequest , is a gift made through your will. It can be
a specific amount, a proportion of your asset, a specific asset or the
right to use your property. A bequest can also be restricted or unrestricted
to meet where need is greatest.
A
gift of life insurance allows you to make a significant
contribution for a fairly small annual payment. You can designate a specific
percentage of your policy to charities of your choice through your insurance
company.
For
enquiries on giving of life insurance, you may contact the LifeCare Movement
