researches /surveys of ‘students with special educational needs (SEN)’ and/ or ‘youth employment’

Social Development – News      2018/02/09

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service has been working on the Desktop Research Programme on Researches Conducted by Local NGOs to collect and review the information of the researches and surveys conducted by different agencies. With the materials collected, the Council prepares the reports and the research briefs which can be found at the Centre for Excellence website, for the reference of the sector, academic sector and the general public.

Through the programme, a comprehensive database has been developed to depict the overall picture on evidence-based practice experience of the sector. Apart from facilitating the sector to cultivate a better understanding of the topics, the Council would like to demonstrate the sector’s contributions to researches and further promote evidence-based practice in the sector. Furthermore, it serves as a valuable asset for knowledge building and service development.

The success of this programme depends on the support of agency members. You are cordially invited to provide information about researches and surveys conducted by your agency on ‘students with special educational needs (SEN)’」and/ or ‘youth employment’ from year 2000 to 2017.

It would be highly appreciated if your agency can download and complete ‘Agency Stock-Taking Form’ below and return it to the Council on or before 28th Feb, 2018 (Wednesday) through e-mail ([email protected]) or fax (2864 2999).

To promote exchanges and cooperation among researchers in the sector and practitioners engaging in research works, you are invited to fill in the contact details of research staff of your agency in the form, for future contact and liaison.

Should your organization have any enquiry or follow-up, please contact Ms. Jacey KAN, Programme Executive (Policy Research and Advocacy), at 2864 2963 or [email protected] .

I look forward to your participation and reply. Thank you very much!
