Project Ambition

 

Project Ambition is sponsored by a warm-hearted company owner and coordinated by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The aim of this project is supporting the students with potentials, but from low-income families and study in Kwai Chung secondary schools, to develop confidence and become ambitious in their life. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsor, 8 participating schools and 4 non-governmental organisations for this support.

The induction day was held on 29th September, which marks that The project is set sail, special thank for Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Kwai Chung) for providing venue. Beside the main goal of this project, to help participating students to change their life, we also hope that the students could widen their horizons, care about their society and equip themselves.

8 participating schools are (in alphabetical order): Carmel Alison Lam Foundation Secondary School, Cotton Spinners Association Secondary School, HKSYC&IA Chan Nam Chong Memorial College, HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No. 1 Secondary School, Kiangsu-Chekiang College(Kwai Chung), Lingnan Dr. Chung Wing Kwong Memorial Secondary School, Salesians of Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School and  The Methodist Lee Wai Lee College

4 non-governmental organisations are (in alphabetical order): HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre-Cheung Hing Wah Charitable Foundation Cheung Hang Rehabilitation Centre and Dr. Lam Chik Suen District Elderly Community Centre, Heep Hong Society-Tai Wo Hau Centre, Hong Kong Playground Association-Night Track” – Overnight Outreaching Service for YNDs (Kwai Tsing District) and The Salvation Army-Tai Wo Hau C & Y Centre
