Assistant Programme Manager


AIDS Concern's vision is for Triple Zero Hong Kong – ZERO new HIV infections, ZERO stigma and ZERO AIDS deaths. To meet this vision, our PLHIV (People Living with HIV) Support and Anti-stigma team is dedicated to providing education programmes for improving public understanding of HIV through active anti-stigma campaigns and educational workshops.

In that sense, we need a dedicated and responsible candidate with genuine interest in NGO services to join our PLHIV team as Assistant Programme Manager


The successful candidate will be responsible for

  • Provide informed case management support to PLHIV with complex needs.                                             
  • The growth and development of our service in PLHIV caring and anti-stigma education and advocacy
  • Initiate and develop programs for promotion well-being of PLHIV and anti-stigma in line with the agency's Triple Zero vision
  • Managing administration work and budget control
  • Overseeing program design, project planning, budgeting, monitoring and implementation, and subsequent follow-up action
  • Daily operations of the teams to ensure effective execution of agreed projects in a timely and quality manner
  • Leading and coaching the teams to generate new initiatives that enhance and advance our services to the community
  • We will consider candidates with more experience to be titled Programme Manager


We are looking for candidates who are

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Counselling or Education and Promotion related disciplines preferred
  • At-least 3 years supervision and managerial exposure
  • Experience in and ability to develop service plans with clients in order to assess needs, identify resources and support strategies and evaluate outcomes
  • Good team player and strong communications skills. Able to form collaborations among various parties
  • Pro-active, well organized, acts effectively with good quality and is able to meet set timelines
  • Proficient in English and Cantonese, Mandarin a plus
  • Well versed operations in Microsoft Office. Social media related knowledge a plus
