Project Officer (Ref No: HKCSS/069/2017)

1 year renewable contract



  • To work with the team and manage research projects, including conducting Social Impact Assessment (SIA) studies with the framework of the HKCSS, and writing up reports and papers as requested;
  • To organize events for the promotion of SIA and practice research, as well as researcher-practitioner networking and knowledge exchange;
  • To provide support to other team members as required;
  • To undertake any other assignments as may be required by the Chief Executive or the duly appointed representative.



  • Recognized post-graduate degree in social sciences.  Candidates with lower qualifications will also be considered based on their experience in research and advocacy;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in conducting research;
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), as well in MS Excel and SPSS;
  • Demonstrated capacity in independent and innovative thinking and commitment to promoting social justice. 


5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
