Consultation Forum on Land Supply

Social Development – Seminar      2018/08/30

The Task Force on Land Supply has been holding public engagement activities so as to collect opinions from the general public on land supply and other related issues. The social welfare sector is concerned with not only whether there is sufficient land supply to meet needs of different groups, but also the way in which the land can be allocated justly, thereby addressing the housing needs of the grassroots and the welfare needs of various disadvantaged groups.

In view of this, our Council is going to organize a consultation forum inviting the Task Force on Land Supply, academic and welfare sectors as speakers of the related topics. There will also be a section in the forum when the speakers and the participants can interact and dialogue. We expect the forum can be an occasion on which opinions from our agency members on the related issues such as land supply, welfare land-use / premise demand, allocation and planning can be collected and exchanged. The arrangement of the consultation forum is as follows:

Date: 30 August 2018 (Thursday)

Time: 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Registration will start at 2:15 p.m.)

Venue: Room 103, Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, Wan Chai
