Elderly Service – Seminar      2018/02/26

Social Impact Assessment (SIA) can bring us another perspective of analysis for service development. A few years ago, the Council collaborated with the University of Hong Kong, and co-developed the design of SIA framework to help reviewing the social impacts of services. 

This workshop is going to introduce to the agency members providing elderly services the conceptual framework, operational procedures, and basic application of SIA along with case studies. The objective is to equip the members with basic knowledge about SIA, particularly the perspective and methodology. Details are as follows:

 Basic concepts and principles about SIA
 Reasons for doing service assessment
 Ideas of KPI, Service Logic Model, Output, Outcome and Theory of Change 
 Measuring the outcomes and impacts of the service project
 Demonstrating the social impacts of a service project
