Service on social service publications for Agency Members. Social
workers and the general public can purchase the latest social service
publications in the Reference Library of HKCSS. The "Social
Service Publications" website is also developed to promote
the publications. Agency Members of HKCSS can enjoy special discount
in the purchase of the publications.
Recuritment
Advertisement Benefit Scheme. Many popular newspapers provide
special offers to Agency Members in placing recruitment advertisements.
Agency Members could also upload their recruitment advertisements
on HKCSS website free of charge.
HKCSS
Institute organizes various kinds of training courses to promote
good management practices, improve quality of service and enhance
capabilities of social service organizations.
The
International and Regional Networking of HKCSS, to organize Agency
Members to participate in international conferences and study visits
in order to enhance international perspectives of local social work
practitioners. HKCSS will also apply for funding support from various

is a web based information platform that provides information on
social services for the general public. Agency Members are eligible
to apply for a free user account to upload agency activities and
information to SWIK.

HKCSS quarterly magazine Scenario. 'Scenario'
promotes exchange of information and experience within the welfare
sector, which also facilitates people form other sectors know about

The Caring
Company Scheme, which has been launched by the HKCSS since 2002,
is an initiative for cultivating corporate citizenship. First of
its kind in Hong Kong, it is specifically geared for building strategic
partnership between the business and the social service sectors,
and for building a caring society with joint efforts. Through the
Caring Company website - “Matching Projects”, Agency Members can
reach out to be partners with the business sector.
Agency Members are encouraged to
join the WiseGiving, which appropriately upholds the rights of
donors and enhances the accountability and transparency of fund
raising activities of Agency Members.
Provides Information
on Funding Bodies for Agency Members. HKCSS is also responsible
for the coordination of funding applications and allocations on
behalf of some funding bodies.
