小學生及家長理財習慣和觀念調查報告

香港保險業聯會及香港小童群益會以問卷形式訪問近1000名小四至小六的學生及家長,發現約有三成半的學生,並不知道日常用品的價格,例如書簿費及校服等,亦有五成多的學生,對日常消費的金額估計,與實際金額,相差多於一成。調查顯示,六成受訪家長認為子女應在小學階段學習理財知識,以及應將理財教育納入正規課程。調查亦反映小學生對日常生活所需要的支出不太了解,建議父母應多與子女分享日常用品的價格,培養子女的理財知識。

「長者未了心願」
研究報告

長者在規劃晚年生活的過程中,「未了心願」有著重要的位置。該項研究發現,長者認為最重要的心願,多與個人身心健康有關,望能自我照顧並安然而逝,其次則涉及家庭、伴侶關係或家庭責任等心願,而長者亦甚為重視個人於世上的成就,期望晚年仍能繼續進修學習,貢獻社會;可是,「讀多D書、學多D野」及「身心康寧」等卻是最多長者未能完成但認為重要的心願。研究結果亦反映長者心願完成與否對其情緒有顯著影響,因此幫助長者完成未了心願實在重要。然而,研究指出家人對長者心願的看法與長者自己對心願的看法存在顯著差異,建議長者及家人開心見誠的溝通,一起規劃及完成長者的心願,達致圓滿人生。
