2008-09 Cross-sectoral Collaboration

The Council has initiated cross-sectoral collaboration projects to bring together wisdom, resources and efforts from the business sector, professional groups, policy makers and the Government in areas of service enhancement, NGOs capacity building and benefiting disadvantaged groups.

Collaborated with RTHK Radio 5 to co-produce ¡§Love is All Around¡¨ Program to promote social services available in Hong Kong.

Collaborated with the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) to set up the Social Enterprises Resources Centre (SERC) to promote the development of social enterprises (SE) in Hong Kong.

Collaborated with Li & Fung Co. to set up a Fung Foundation Social Enterprise Fund to support improvement projects for SEs and NGOs.

Collaborated with Hong Kong Medical Association Tai Po Network of Private Doctors, Alice Ho Mui Ling Nethersole Hospital (AHMLNS) and 6 NGOs to launch Your Health Our Concern Project to support substance abusers in Tai Po.
