Chairperson (2000-2007)

The Hon. Bernard CHAN led the Council to undergo an organizational review of its role, functions and organizational structure in late 2000 and endorsed new mission, vision and direction for the Council. He promoted Corporate Social Responsibility through the launch of the Caring Company Scheme in 2002, facilitating the communication and partnership between the business and social welfare sectors.
